The kidneys of her did not heal after she developed an infection that was septic and she suffered multiple organ failure. Her life became a new routine of hemodialysis and the peritoneal dilation. She finally returned home after 80 days of hospitalization, from the point where she was near death to the long road back to health. Her life had been forever altered. Angelica, after a half-year of dialysis, and one year half-year of dialysis, was now set for the most significant operation of all - an organ replacement. Her mother would be the organ donor. Angelica together with her mother, went through an organ transplant successfully on September 13th 2013 in two fantastic hospitals situated right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity ever since.
